This product is ideal for welding similar compositions of stainless steel, such as 316, 316L, 304, and 304L, as well as joining mild and low alloy materials. Its low carbon content prevents carbide precipitation and intergranular corrosion, especially when welding low carbon stainless steel grades, and its higher silicon levels provide improved arc stability, bead shape, and edge wetting. 316LSi is widely used in MIG welding and is precision layer wound with a low carbon content to reduce the risk of carbide precipitation. It features easy starting and smooth feeding wire, as well as improved weld edge wetting due to its higher silicon content. Suitable for all welding positions, this 15kg spool is perfect for food processing equipment, water processing filtration plants, and general stainless steel fabrications.
