Compared to thoriated electrodes, this electrode contains rare earth mixed oxides, making it more environmentally friendly and non-radioactive. It offers excellent ignition and consistent welding properties, making it suitable for all applications in DC and AC welding for various metals. Its superior ignition properties also make it ideal for automated welding. Additionally, its low temperature and longer service life make it a more efficient option than thoriated electrodes.
