This product has a 45% silver content and a brazing temperature of approximately 700 C. It has excellent capillary action and creates a high strength bond when components are closely fit together. It is ideal for brazing steel and other ferrous metals. It is also suitable for use in refrigeration pipe joints that require a strong bond, and it meets the AWS A5.8 BAG-1 specification as well as industry standards.
