This MIG welder is designed for gasless use and can be used with 0.8mm or 0.9mm gasless wire mini spools. It has a maximum output of 130A with a 20% duty cycle, allowing for welding up to 4mm of mild steel. Equipped with a 10A 240V plug, it can accommodate 1kg (D100mm) spools. This welder is incredibly lightweight and compact, weighing only 6kg including the torch and leads. Its digital readout displays make it easy to use, along with the fine adjustment dial for precise weld settings and excellent arc control at low amps when welding thin materials. Its robust drive system ensures reliable wire feeding, and the side-loading wire-feeder compartment allows for easy wire spool changing. With a sturdy carry handle, it is also compatible with generators, requiring a minimum of 7kva and ideal for 8kva.

APPLICATION INFO

• Gasless (flux-cored) MIG welding of mild steel
• Designed for hobbyist & occasional use
• As with any machine that has a "direct-connect" MIG torch, the 131GL is NOT recommended for trade / field / site work. For these applications, we recommend models 180MST & above, which have heavier-duty "Euro-connect" torches and wire drive systems.
